Bella Vista

Welcome to Bella Vista

Bella Vista is a tight-knit community, perfect for anyone who believes that a neighborhood is a space where people work together to make it a better place to live.

Local groups like the Bella Vista Neighbors Association (BVNA) and Friends of Bardascino Park work hard to make the streets and parks of Bella Vista clean, beautiful, safe spaces to live, while they also put together a number of events throughout the year. Everything from yoga or movies in the park, to neighborhood open houses, make for great opportunities to make nearby friends.

And then there are cultural and historical hubs like the Italian Market, the very first curbside market in America, which still brings fresh produce, meat, gourmet cheeses, and other delectable options to its many shops and restaurants. If art is more your thing, then there are a number of smaller nonprofit galleries, like the Fleisher Art Memorial and Da Vinci Art Alliance.

Bella Vista, the neighborhood where many of Philadelphia’s immigrant communities first arrived from the 1800s on, continues to be the perfect place for new beginnings.
