Point Breeze has been one of the hotter neighborhoods for Philly real estate since 2016. With its proximity to Center City and easy access to public transportation routes and major highways, it’s a prime location for Philly living and working.
The area has seen a lot of change in the last few years, with redevelopment projects and new businesses popping up around the neighborhood. But expect more to come from this South Philly spot as interest continues to grow.
Little known fact: the origin of the neighborhood’s name comes from Napoleon Bonaparte’s brother, who once owned an estate there in 1816! While the swan lakes of the past are no longer a staple of the neighborhood, you can still find multiple playgrounds, two branches of the Free Library, quite a few of Philly’s more popular bars and restaurants, and even a famous mural by Keith Haring!
